INTERACTIVE LEADERSHIP COACHING SESSIONS

Throughout the entire leadership conference, every student leader will engage in seven interactive breakout sessions with trained student affair professionals who serve as leadership coaches at the Circle of Change Leadership Experience.  The different descriptions for each session are as follows:

FRIDAY SESSIONS

Facilitation Session One

Developing Your Personal Identity

Goal: The objective of this session is to increase student awareness about their personal identity.

The first interactive facilitation breakout session with our trained coaches will focus on helping emerging and seasoned leaders develop their personal identity by identifying their talents, strengths, passions, values, personality, and career interest.  This interactive session will revolve around various assessments, activities, and reflection exercises.

Facilitation Session Two

Developing Your Professional Brand

Goal: The objective of this session is to help students identify and create a professional brand

The second interactive facilitation breakout session with our trained coaches will focus on helping emerging and seasoned leaders develop a professional brand that can be clearly identified and communicated to others.  This interactive session will revolve around various activities and reflection exercises.

Facilitation Session Three

Developing Your Leadership Identity

Goal: The objective of this session is to help students identify and create a leadership identity.

The third interactive facilitation breakout session with our trained coaches will focus on helping emerging and seasoned leaders develop a leadership identity by learning about different leadership styles that are used by leaders in various situations and circumstances.  This interactive session will revolve around various assessments, activities, and reflection exercises.

SATURDAY SESSIONS

Facilitation Session Four

Developing Your Personal Vision, Mission, and Purpose Statement

Goal: The objective of this session is to help students develop a clear, concise, and compelling vision and purpose statement.

The fourth interactive facilitation breakout session with our trained coaches will focus on helping emerging and seasoned leaders develop a solid vision, mission, and purpose statement.  This interactive session will revolve around various activities and reflection exercises.

Facilitation Session Five

Developing Your Ethical Compass

Goal: The objective of this session is to help students develop an ethical leadership compass

The fifth interactive facilitation breakout session with our trained coaches will focus on helping emerging and seasoned leaders develop an ethical leadership compass that is geared towards helping participants make positive decisions, lead with exceptional character, and serve others fairly and respectfully as leaders.  This interactive session will revolve around various assessments, activities, and reflection exercises.

Facilitation Session Six

Increasing Global and Social Awareness

Goal: The objective of this session is to help students increase their global and social awareness

The sixth interactive facilitation breakout session with our trained coaches will focus on helping emerging and seasoned leaders increase their global and social awareness as leaders while also learning how to effectively connect, interact, and lead diverse groups of people.

SUNDAY SESSIONS

Facilitation Session Seven

A Call to Action

Goal: The objective of this session is to help students develop a plan of action that leads to immediate impact when they return to their respected campuses and communities.

The seventh interactive facilitation breakout session with our trained coaches will focus on helping emerging and seasoned leaders develop a call to action by identifying their goals, strategic action plan, and set of individuals needed to help them make a positive impact in the world as a leader.
